The payment policy for car hire in Uganda may vary depending on the car rental company you choose. However, most car rental companies in Uganda will require a deposit to secure your booking. The amount of the deposit will vary depending on the type of car and the length of the rental period.
In general, car rental companies in Uganda will require you to make a deposit of between 20% and 50% of the total rental cost. The balance of the rental cost will then be payable on the day of pick-up, either in cash or by credit card at the a hotel or upon arrival.
Some car rental companies in Uganda may also require you to provide a credit card as a guarantee for the rental.
