Why hire a car in Uganda?

When to book, pre-book or on arrival?

We offer the clients a chance to pre-book the car before even arrive at the Entebbe international. Or at the office and its better you book your car in time, we will send you our bank account details. On which you will make the wire transfer other method you can use pesapaL.  We send you a link open it and follow the instruction for payment. However we can also book the car for you. And you pay on arrival at Entebbe or direct at our offices. We offer the best deals and our rates are reasonably low. Which saves you from wandering around the city looking for hire deals whose prices are relatively high.

How much can I fuel the car and what kind of fuel?

All our fleets come in both petrol and diesel models, so it’s you to choose the type of car. You need and it’s better to inform us in time at the time of booking. In many cases no guarantee  given on the amount of fuel to use remember you will be driving yourself. It will depend on the distance to cover. Our staff will do their best to deliver a car with the fuel type requested with some fuel. And petrol stations are everywhere on most roads and a liter cost between 5300-5,500 UGX.

Can I return the rental vehicle early?

Yes, you can return the car in time before your agreed dates however. You should note that car rental companies will not refund of unused rental days. If you need more days it’s better to inform your car rental company about the extra days and required to pay for the extra days the same money per day.

Is an International Driving Permit required?

Yes, it’s very essential to carry a valid international driving permit (IDP) it’s a proof that you hold a valid driver’s license in your home country and we remain with a photocopy of IDP) you should also not forget a domestic drivers license, it’s a very essential travel document recommended for many countries when hiring a vehicle . Even locals,  present your driving permit and an Identification card before we hire you the car.  also you will fist sign an agreement which will be given to you, its a proof that you have accepted the companies terms of hiring the vehicle and you will be left with one copy and the company will also remain with one.

Is there any discount given?

Many car hire companies offers discount on each vehicle, however this can be possible if you make an early booking. If you hire the car for many days from 10 days and above, you can get a discounted rate on the car by 10% so, you will get some money saved on your car rental and use it for something else.

How and when do I receive confirmation of my booking?

Immediately after you confirm your booking with us, be sent an email as soon as possible in full details of the money to pay for the dates you going to be using the car, the car type, and the agreed upon point where to receive the vehicle. If the booking is through a phone we will also call you direct.
